Asana

With Gilles last night was good... He brought home-baked (Danel) apple pie. Even without the pie I'm sure it would have been a good evening.

This is the week for seated postures so, 6 sun sals and, from dandasana to marichi B, no backbends or finishing. His adjustments are lite, which is a very good thing. I guess that you could say that paschimatan and triangMPP are the poses which I'm really working on these days, or should I say which are working on me.

Listenned to Ollabelle and Greg Brown.

And then this morning (a little late ~06:45) at the gym to do sun sals, standing, and finishing postures. Was moving quite slowly this morning. So after doing sirsasana and balasana I came to sitting on heels (to take a few breaths). My body was called to move in a way which I've never done before...

While kneeling, I reached my right hand to the floor just on the outside of my left knee, and folded my left hand over my back. Then I applied the same trunk motion in utthitha parsvokanasana... weighting the hand on the floor and openning the chest. I stayed for a few breaths... likely 5. Then I did the other side...

As I applied the twwisting...POP!! went my lower back around sacral area... I was stunned... though for sure my back was now going be out... really out... walking crooked out... going to mees me up for a while out...

The only thing I could sense was a softenning all over... kinda like when a head ache goes away... you feel liberated from the tension and totally at ease and refreshed...

I smiled, and checked out the smile in the mirror (gym reference). And took rest.

I feel great!

I'm on day 2 of thuja occidentalis for treatment of the vaccine's effect. The C5 thing and the numb left fingers I've had for a while now. Hope that sacral pop gets the ball rolling and this starts clearing up now...
