Asana

Good brisk pace today, minimizing extra breaths, and the long pauses I can introduce between in/exhalations. Anybody who knows me personally has had to put up with the long gaps in my sentences. These pauses are long enough that some people think I've lost the mental thread... just slow wheels turning up there. Anyhow as with speach, so with breath. I have the same capacity for producing sort of a prolonged moment in between breath directions. I'm cutting down on those.

Adjustments arrived today during prasarita-padotan C and paschimatan. The hip-hinges are starting to feel different in the presaritas. Not sure if my trunk is actually getting les rounded, but going down and lifting out feels like there's a different action in the hip crease. We hung out for about 10 breaths today in paschimatan... ever so slow to come out of a pose once you've been assisted to go deeper.

I'm beginning to be able to take the foot/leg to the side in uttithahast-padang. The knee no longer tries to bend as soon as I initiate the swing. It waits a couple of moments longer...
