Asana

Early again (or right on time I should say 06:50). Adjustments today arrived (sounds like a UPS shipment eh?) in padhahastasan, prasarita padotan C and paschimatan. And I am still being able to get some side-swing range in uttthitha hastha padang. Interestingly I'm not missing the internal aspect of my practice, as it's coming from the slight effort to move things along a bit more briskly.

Starting to feel like I've got some control lowering legs in sirsasan, as well as feeling quite a bit more stable while up. Or at least better able to make finer corrections to the pose once I'm up.

Karnapindasan is seeing arms starting to be in correct position. Typically I've been getting knees close to ears, and grabbing toes instead of stretched out along the floor in the proper position. In the past few days I've been keeping proper hand position and just letting legs/knees hang down as far as they will... the letting-go feeling has been reminding me of the assist Sharmila was giving in this pose.

Still haven't felt like I had enough strength to do any chakrasanas, this short practice is still working up quite a sweat...

Was having a chat today with one of the students, a relative beginner (just past sun sals), and I was stressing how fortunate I thought Tokyo was to have Tarik here.

It's true they are.
