55 minutes to get to client's site. Turns out that my time on the JR line is just about as long as my colleagues walk from their hotel to the Hamamasutscho monorail station. I was preparing myself for about a 90 minute commute being out in Shibuya... very good news in the end, as it's under 60. The express train Tarik had mentioned is in fact the monorail. There's one special train every so often which goes directly from Hamamatsucho to the airport... I think I'm better off with the typical train.
On top of that we've settled our daily schedule to be 09:30-17:00, which means that a morning practice with Tarik and a regular AM routine won't be so hectic. May even have time for a nice breakfast... trial run tomorrow...
I'm working in a big computer room, which means really cold and dry air. It's going to be a long six weeks in that respect. Didn't bring enough sweaters.
Nice big bowl of Soba for lunch today about 360y, with little mushrooms. The students were impressed that I could eat noodles with hachi (even though I may not be able to spell it).
9$ sushi dinner tonight from one of food shops in the Tokyu dept store... yum.
One hour and 6 minutes from the entrance of Shin Seibijo monorail to my hotel room. Which includes shopping for sushi dinner and lots of getting lost time trying to exit the station and then that damned Tokyu department store.
Yoga tomorrow with Tarik...
