Well last week saw the turning of a chapter in the Thursday night GAS gathering...
It was Christine's last visit before she take off on her [what I'm sure will be] life changing trip to Costa Rica. I've acquired one of her framed photographs and it's hanging in the kitchen, so in a way she'll continue to be present.
Why not hang it in the practice room?
Because the yoga happens after practice in the kitchen where we share pot-luck treats.
Colin was away last week, which was too bad, he's a key feature of the gathering, and he didn't get an opportunity to be there to bring his typical uplifting contribution (tempted to say jovial) and say good-bye. And of course it's too bad he missed the magnificent apple pie Christine baked... good thing he's not a dessert guy...
Smaller group tonight... looks like me and Gilles. Considering practicing along to Richard Freeman tonight. My bet is that Gilles will really like Richard's verbal cues...
Maybe going to eat a bit less after practice as well?? We'll see...
