Ended up Colin and Jace and me...
Colin and Jace just left (written Thursday night)... Gilles couldn't make it in the end. Still busy with David I guess, which is great because he loves that child. Colin and Jace did pick up the bass (Glen's old Yamaha) and Gilles' amp so...
We did asanas then we ate and then we played music!!
Well ok... so we jammed...
Was fun... no real spectacular moments, though a couple of nice grooves, and cool quirky jam-odd-time phrasings. Colin on bass mostly and Jeromy on guitar... then they switched it up for a bit, but Jace is great as improv front guy, and can't really get that far out there on bass (at least not with me as the time keeper).
Just the other day I was thinking that it was about time that the music room had some other players in there... vois-les...
Last night (Wednesday night) on the eve of the Ganesha festival/celebrations I did my 1:08 (hours:minutes) sun sal session. That was the routine a while ago (wednesday nights), and I think I'm going to get back to it. Then maybe add the Sunday night, like before. Trying to get a more than twice a week practice happenning and soften this body up a bit.
Tuesday night with Henri. Not bad, not good. He seems to be concerned about how I speak, in terms of my over intellectualizing and labouring over details in vocabulary. He also seems to not be fond of my trying to be precise about adjectives.
Well fond... he's suggested that my reluctance to accept his summaries of situations has to do with me trying to keep him at a distance. Funny because my suggestion that it's manefestation of a deep desire to get on the same page (to get him closer). I guess I'm going to have to back off, ease up and accept his vocabulary for a while and see where it goes. I'm not sure if Loren is buying it (him) either, we'll see. We may not be buying it, but were sure enough paying for it.
Am tasked with develloping a new course...
Slightly challenging, it's very early in the game and difficult to see where our technology is headed...

Am currently scheduled to be there (umbria) for a 4 week assignment... I'm keeping my fingers crossed... maybe Loren will join me... maybe we can have white truffles at the same place Colin and Hannah ate at... and maybe even the same B&B.... I'm excited!!
Kitchen is clean... time to rest...
