Been a while...
So much is going on, how to find the time and an appropriate way to write about it...
The Italy assignment has been canceled. And by extension, so has (had) our Italian vacation. The assignment has been pushed to 09, March-ish. When I got the news for some reason Loren and I automatically abandoned our plans to take an extra week for ourselves there. However, it looks like a go for Germany. So my assignment is 2 weeks in Germany instead of 4 in Italy... What stops me from flying to Italy after my stint in Germany is over????

So I'll fly Loren to Italy for the second week of my German thing, she'll do the ufuzzi etc, and then I'll meet her in Florence for the week after that!!! I booked her tickets yesterday... Haven't told her yet she's going to have to overnight in Frankfurt...
Gilles has just left... was the 2 of us tonight, Colin was in Toronto, Charles still traveling the world... well OK so he's in Oklahoma City... Jace taking advantage of the spectacular weather to do some blading... Glen not yet into a south shore mid-week venture...
Salmon salad and a peanut pasta, and some very tasty gravlox made by a student chef... and a couple of IPAs.
We let David Swenson talk us up to upvishtakonasana... it's been a very long time since I've practiced even as far as navasana, and Gilles has never practiced beyond that... wonderful practice...
Work with Henri is turning out to be anything but therapeutic... he's made a couple of very sketchy comments... during the last visit he actually asked Loren if she was completely crazy. WTF??? 1st of all, not particularly professional, second of all he should know the answer by now!!! And after 5-ish visits is still in gathering (info) mode??? Not sure where the benefits of time with him will come from... Still kind of curious, though, it's not particularly affordable and so far it's seemed to have quite a depressive effect on both of us... he's still finding ways to express his anger at Loren father... I guess it's working for 1 of the three of us...
Spent a nice weekend up with Hannah and Colin at Patrix...
Scattered Madeline's ashes along the steps down to the dock... was special to be with Colin for that. I'll avoid mentioning the bad shit that went down after Zen crapped on the carpet, and from how the weekend almost ended as it had started... with someone stepping in shit.
Hooked up with Jace last night for the initial screening of M60 "... in a Montreal minute..." and ran into Margaret, on of my college teachers, thanks to her I got in...
