So my next assignment is officialy upon me...
I'm leaving shortly (days) for Buchel Germany via Zurich and Luxemburg.
Through Zurich as that's the popular way to Luxemburg with Swiss Air, and to Luxemburg because I've blindly taken the council of my good friend and colleage Gilles, to drive to Buchel from there. He's guessing about 3 hours I'm guessing about 4+. We'll see...
Worst case scenario is that you'll be receiving lots of photos of my drive along the Mozel river valley... apparently it's god-awful ugly landscpe... :-)
I've also taken Gille's lead on hotel selection, he's forbidden me to travel to this location and not stay at this particualr hotel in this particular room...

For this trip, I am supporting one of our top production guys, I'm not teaching, we're in a phase of deploying new technology, and I'm smack-dab in the middle. Which is better than being 2+ years behind our lead engineers (the way it's traditinally happened around here).
The bad news is that I know Germany is not really known for it's food and wine so I may not have many pictures/stories relating to any of the out-of-this-world meals I'll be having... ;-)
