Too much to do

Note: I've decided to implement a system not unlike KJS's (actually, a total copy of KJS's) for referring to my friends, as I've noticed that too many of them have the same first initials, and, quite frankly, it's just plain boring

What a week. Things have been crazy busy, and I've been juggling everything like a crazy person. For some reason I thought that staying here in Montreal would make the holidays less hectic...yeah right! Between planning my time here with my parents, my Christmas dinner (which has now officially doubled in size since The Male Neighbour and The Female Neighbour are officially staying in town and Marler wants to come too), my gift buying (as of now I've bought a total of ZERO gifts) and work (planning stupid men's night, trying to find time to do the PR for that; planning for the meeting next week with the PR girl regarding the gala/benefit/media-night thing in February....ARGH...we don't even have a venue yet!) and fitting all the social engagements that come with the season, AND making deadline for the article I had due yesterday, things have been absolutely NUTS!!! Oh, and the dryer repair man BROKE our dryer and now it doesn't work at all...brilliant.
Somehow I've managed to stay on top of pretty much everything except yoga (and the flyers for the men's night...but that's because our translator isn't back in town until Monday!!). I got my story done and am actually very happy with it. Had a crazy night on Thursday to celebrate the Debater's 22nd with the Model, the Pot Head, the Male Neighbour, the Roommate, the Roommate's French Lover and the Debater (obviously)(Happy Birthday!!)...which ended with my the Pot Head and I singing Baby Got Back at karaoke...Last night my Gay Husband and I went to the Rufus Wainwright concert at Theatre Outremont, which was fucking amazing, so, so, so good. We left the concert and emerged into a gigantic blizzard and now the city is really blanketed in snow.
Tonight The Vegan came over...we went out to dinner at Aux Vivres (an awesome vegan place), then came home and watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind while stringing popcorn and cranberries onto garlands for my tree. Yeah, it was a CRAZY Saturday night...haha. I'm so exhausted. A group from work was going out salsa dancing tonight, but I was way too tired after working today...not to mention being out until 4am on Thursday and late last night too...Tomorrow's dim sum with all the usual people and then shopping with my Gay Husband on Ste. Catherine (yes, I am probably crazy for going downtown on a weekend in December) and probably some sort of dinner thing at my house, depending on peoples' exam schedules. Tonight I checked out my work schedule for next week and made a yoga schedule that fits with my work one...I hope to stick to it as much as possible, because yoga has been getting neglected way too much.
I think I'll be able to relax at some point in January!

P.S. Happy, happy birthday to my brother Jay...I can't believe you're 15. I can't believe I haven't seen you since early October. I don't day it that often, but you should know that I miss you a lot, I can't wait to see you in January and I think you're one of the most wonderful, level-headed, funny kids I've ever met.

Happy birthday to the Jewellery Designer...I hope you can come out on Wednesday....we can premier our new dance routine!

Shopping on Ste. Catherine St. today? That's SUICIDE!

Let us know if you make it out of there alive! Good luck!

Going to see Gregory Charles at the Saint-Denis this afternoon... Should be a bit quieter there!

Isn't it so much more fun than initials : )
