dropped from our insurance

Holy shit!! We get a phone call this morning that we are getting dropped from our renters insurance (Liberty Mutual) because we've had too many claims (2 in 8 years). What is that all about?? We've been paying them and paying them for years and years.. Isn't that what insurance is for?? If something gets stolen or there is a fire, isn't the insurance that we so badly NEED in this country is suppose to insure us that, afterall, we are ok. This is bullshit!!!

Overall it doesn't matter anyway, because soon we will be homeowners and don't need those jerks (we can sign up with some other jerks and pay them more money b/c we own). I really can't believe it, well actually I can believe it, those greedy bastards.

oh...i believe it...sounds like what happens with the Medical Insurance...if you have any "pre-exsisting" medical problems they won't take you..or so the new doctors office told me when I moved and tried to find a doctor.
Thats America Folks! Don't you just love it?!
(by the way..I don't have any pre-exsisting problems..just was blown away when told that)
Insurance sucks big time!
My rant for the day!!!

It's worse than I thought. Now we'll go into the "high risk" pool and anyone who picks us up will be aware that we had two claims and will want to charge us more....

Try to find an agent you can trust. My sister had an incident with water in the basement not that long ago and her agent at least advised her not to make the claim. I guess his thought was save the repercussions for something really big like a house fire. It just seems like such a rip off but I guess we will just have to learn to "work" within the system.
